Is it safe to feed raw bones to dogs?
If they are raw, yes. Raw bones are high in moisture content, softer, flexible and very easily digested – while cooked bones are low in moisture and easily split or cause choking. Raw meaty bones should be an integral part of your pet’s raw diet because they contain natural nutrients such as Glucosamine and Chondroitin, the Omega essential fatty acids and calcium, phosphorus and bone building minerals such as magnesium, all in perfectly natural quantities.
Remember! NEVER feed your dog cooked bones.
